RCB vs DC | Match 20 | IPL 2019 | FanFight Fantasy Cricket Preview | A Do or Die Game for RCB

RCB vs DC: While RCB heavily relies on a couple of superstars, DC on the other side is lined up with perhaps the best homegrown batting line up. No superstars, but someone or the other have been stepping up for the occasion to put up a competitive score on the board.

RCB were not supposed to lose the game against KKR. Dreadful bowling, to say the least. Defending the target, the spinners bowled brilliantly well but late havoc from Andre Russel ensured a fairly easy win for the team from the East, with 5 balls to spare. Pretty much sums up the luck factor RCB have had all this season. Virat Kohli’s men were also snatched off a victory against MI, thanks to poor on-field umpiring. Perhaps that hit their confidence big time.

It’s very critical for RCB to win it against DC. Firstly, considering their current form, they badly need to register a win and put some points on the table. Secondly, also because Delhi Capitals is not the toughest of opponents to play considering their next run of fixtures. Lastly, since they are playing at home on a Sunday evening in front of a packed home crowd. They do not want to disappoint them any further.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are sitting pretty at 5th on the points table with three defeats (two of which coming of the last two games) and two wins. They have not had a memorable encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last game, defending a meagre 129.

All eyes on Captain Kohli. Was criticised for his captaincy in the last game, after failing to defend a great score. More specifically, has not utilized Moeen Ali on a wicket where Pavan Negi and Chahal were doing wonders. Delhi once again look forward to relying heavily on their batting strength and put up a good score on the board.

  • Dilli ka launda, Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli loves Delhi. Not just because he is from Delhi, but also because he has amassed the most number of runs against this very opponent. He has scored 761 runs in 18 innings, at an average close to 70.

  • AB AB AB

His last season’s record against Delhi was brilliant. Has scored 90 and 72 respectively. Overall, AB has scored 396 runs in 9 innings at an average of 80 and at a strike rate close to 175.

  • The PANT factor

This lad will try his best to prove his mettle at this batting friendly pitch. Also tends to slog a lot, sometimes unusually. The short boundaries may offer him some help.

Further, has also scored 248 runs in the last 4 T20 innings against RCB.

  • Five out of five

AB has 5 50’s in his last 5 T20 innings at Chinnaswamy.

  • Chahal Chamatkaar

Already has picked 9 wickets this season in 5 at an economy rate of 6.45 runs. Considering the spin this track has offered in the last game, would be very exciting to watch Chahal bowl against the experienced ‘Indian‘ batting line up of Delhi Capitals.
