SRH vs KKR | Match 38 | IPL 2019 | FanFight Fantasy Cricket Preview | The Knights Desperate for a Win

SRH vs KKR: This game ain’t a dead rubber. This game isn’t going to be a dull header. The teams fight for their survival, as IPL 2019 enters the last set of 5 games.

The men in purple from Kolkata currently stand at 6th position after the RCB bashing at the Eden Gardens. RCB managed to score a mammoth 213. Kolkata honestly looked nowhere close to the total, at least till the 14th over. Then came Andre Russell yet again and scored 65 runs from 25 deliveries. Unreal batting to say the least. Andre now explicitly stated that he would like to bat up the order. More time to settle perhaps gets even more comfortable to clobber the ball.

Baring Russell’s all-round performance and Nitish Rana’s contribution with the bat, it has been fairly a disappointing performance from the KKR. KKR now look forward to playing Hyderabad in Hyderabad, and they clearly know that they are heavily reliant on Andre Russell and would want its other players to contribute further and not make it an Andre-centric affair always.

Coming to Hyderabad, they are on a winning note. Beating the table toppers CSK at home, gave them the momentum that they have longed for. They need to play 6 more games of which they play only 2 home games – one of which is tomorrow and the last home game is played on 29th April against Punjab which surely would not be an easy game to play. Hyderabad would not like to leave things so late. A home win is a must, considering their next five games of which three are against teams which are currently in the top 4.

Heavily reliant on Bairstow and Warner, the SRH management looks at the middle order and ask for answers. Bowling has been fairly successful in restricting the batsmen, however, the chases so far have been miserable baring the Chennai Super Kings game.

The Winner of tomorrow’s game would get back into the Top 4 and both teams look forward to locking horns and get back to where they initially were.
