Watford vs Manchester City | Premier League 2018/19 | Fantasy Football Tips

Watford vs Manchester City: Manchester City have dropped only 4 points this season & have looked ever so ominous. Pep Guardiola’s City was scoring goals in plenty last year also, but the defence this year has gotten stronger. Aymeric Laporte has upped his game to a nicety & has held City’s rearguard to a remarkable solidity. Watford are 10th on the league table. The Hornets were cruising in the first quarter of the league, but in the last 4 games, they’ve managed only a solitary point. Javi Gracia will be up against one of the best teams in Europe at the moment. To hold them to a parity or to go one step better & beating them will require a special effort from his players.

City play Chelsea on the weekend and that might force Pep to rest his match winners. While Watford have to go full throttle to upset the league leaders. Watford vs Manchester City is unquestionably going to be a humdinger. Which side are you rooting for?

PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR

Gabriel Jesus has been the second choice striker for City. After his goal against Huddersfield in the 2nd game, the Brazilian striker hasn’t scored in 279 Premier League minutes. Gabriel scored a hattrick in the champions league fixture against Shakhtar Donetsk and with Sergio Aguero not completely fit, he’s expected to start against Watford. With Sterling and Sane on the right & left wing respectively, he’ll have plenty of opportunities to net some goals.

Roberto Pereyra has been Watford’s highest goal scorer this year. The Argentinian midfielder has got pace and his solo goal against Huddersfield was a validation for his dribbling abilities. In 14 games, Pereyra has scored 5 goals and will the Watford’s player to watch out for. He’ll be up against Fernandinho, Stones & Laporte and not many teams have managed to breach that defence.
